How did the Peanuts characters learn English?

cheesemongor asked:

I mean all the adults speak some form of Retard, but all the kids speak fluent English? C’mon Charles Schultz who do you think you’re fooling?

Peanuts characters are born speaking English and then learn “Retard” as a second language…like a rite of passage into adulthood.

Ha ha! I have no clue! Maybe they just read some book on how to speak proper english considering their parents, teachers, and other authority figures obviously never taught them! But have you ever heard Snoopy or Woodstock talk? They kind of speak the same form of retard as the adults!
    :-P
